Siddur Rabbi Yaakov of Emden – section I פלטין בית אל העומד על שבעה עמודי שמים – Ashkenaz version – the Press of Avraham ben Yitzchak Isaac – second edition Koretz, 1818. Originally, [2], 269, 280-387 leaves. This copy begins with leaf 18 and ends with leaf 376. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. 

The book was approbated by leading Chassidic rabbis: the Admor Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel of Apta and the Admor Rabbi Mordechai of Chernobyl. In this copy, the approbations and title page are missing as stated. 

"He who prays from it, his prayer is not turned away G-d forbid". The Siddur was favored by leading Chassidic rabbis and Admorim, who kept it on their table, using it regularly and basing their customs on it. The Chatam Sofer and his disciples also revered the Siddur: אשר מנעוריו חשקה נפשו בחיבורי הגאון מהר"י יעב"ץ, וסידור עמודי שמים היה שעשועיו". 

Ancient leather binding, detached. Fabric spine. Partly bluish paper. Stains. Good overall condition.
