Lot of 2 books from Venice printings: Q&A of the Radbaz, first section—Venice 1749; and Ma’aseh Rokach, first edition—Venice 1742.

Q&A of the Radbaz, by Rabbi David ben Shlomo even Zamra (1479-1573), Av Beit Din and leader of the Jews in Egypt. Cover is repaired, taped, the last page is taped and a little missing, light moth damage, mainly in the first pages, generally excellent condition. Bound with new cloth binding (engraved). [2] 129 page. Signature of ownership on the cover. Ma’aseh Rokach, chiddushim on the Rambam by Rabbi Masoud Hai Rokach (1690-1768), of Tripoli. After leaving Israel as a Shadar (after having moved there from Izmir, his mother country), he was asked by the people of Tripoli to stay there as their rabbi, and he did. This portion of his book, because of which he became famous, was printed during his lifetime. Signature of ownership of “Yehiel Yehuda Schlesinger.” Light tears on the cover, wrinkles, various stains and other tears. Generally very good condition, new engraved binding. [8], 286 pages.
