Lot 417:
Letter written to the residents of the city of Chicago, headed by Yehoshua Kropman, thanks and a long blessing for their generous donation. Signed by Admor HaRav Yisrael ben Mordechai Friedman of Husiatyn. He was known for the legend, during the Shoah, when the Nazis stood on the Egyptian border and attempted to gain entry into Israel. He and the rest of the Jerusalem Kabbalists stood on the grave of the Or HaHayyim and after praying, the Admor said that “the oppressive enemy shall not rule over the Land of Israel.” 1 page in excellent condition.
