Letter from the son of the Gaon HaGadol HaRav Baruch Mordechai Livshitz Av Beit din of Novardok. To the Rav Binyamin Zeev Hositsher. In the letter he details the raising of the yeshiva “Torat Hessed” in Brisk. HaRav Yaakov Zalman Livshitz, a famous Gaon from the sages of Lithuania, son of the Gaon Rabbi Baruch Mordechai Livshitz ba’al Brit Yaakov, one of the heads of the Brisk community and right-hand man of the Garach of Brisk, ran the yeshivas Torat Hessed and the Talmud Torah of Brisk; one of the students of the Beit HaLevi in his old age, the brother-in-law of the Gaon Reb Eliyahu Klatzkin Av Beit Din of Lublin, Excellent condition.
