Lot 266:
Printing of a Jerusalem amulet from the 50s. At the bottom the elder of the Kabbalists, HaRav Yitzhak Khadouri writes a request “May it be your will, our God and God of our forefathers, that in your mercy and kindness you will spare and have mercy on the owner of the home…and all those living in this house you will guard and save from all illness and sickness, from fear and panic, from demons and evil spirits and all other evils in the world and sorcery and deafness and the evil eye, to save them on behalf of the holy dead amen, may it be your will” (Holy Name). There are many holy names in the text which in printing are smudged with ink, HaRav Khadouri fixed all of them in his handwriting, in order that the amulet will work and not have the opposite effect. Rare item, good condition, given in a frame from the period.
