Lot 030:
1. “Hovat Halevavot” with commentary on “Tov HaLevanon” by HaRav Yisrael HaLevi of Zamość, Vienna 1809. First edition, 211 pages. Good condition. Isolated moth damage. Signatures of ownership on the title page in Ashkenazi handwriting. 2. The Kuzari by the Sefardi Rabbi Yehuda HaLevi with the lengthy and important commentary “Otzer Nehmad” by HaRav Yisrael HaLevi of Zamość, Sudilkov 1834. Throughout the commentary there are many charts of the orbit around the sun, the zodiac, and more. (2) 164 page, moth damage on a number of pages. Title page with engraving in red ink. Listing in Ashkenazi handwriting on the title page “for the Midrash Menahem Zion,” seems to be in the handwriting of HaRav Zundel of Salant.
