Lot 429:
Who ran the Western Wall, him and his son, until the War of Independence. Standing beside the stones of the Western Wall, his story and holy function is told in Sefer Yerushalayim Bein HaHomot p. 288 onwards. In the picture behind him there is a stone with the writing “Rahamim Ben…” and today this stone is a number of meters above the ground. Excellent condition, given within a big frame measuring 37cm.
