Questions and answers “Laws of Life” by the Rishon LeZiyyon HaRav Haim Avraham Gagin, Jerusalem with Israeli printing 1843, only edition, (2) 170 pages. This book is a book of questions and answers printed in Jerusalem and is one of the earliest Jerusalem texts. In the center of the title page is etched the flag of the printed HaRav Israel Ba’al Koreh who brought it with him from Berdichev. The compiler is the first to receive the official certification as “Haham Bashi” in the year 1842. The introduction tells the story of the deep conflict between the compiler and the workers of the Kollel on the issue of sealing the window in the yeshiva “Beit El” in whose yard was a place matching the Binding of Isaac. (S. HaLevi, 9). Bound with its original binding, defects and water damage on the first pages with light damage to the text.
