Lot 031:
5 embossed pieces from white marble, upon which are captions and biblical quotes in colorful engravings: “again it will be heard in the cities of Judah and outside of Jerusalem,” “if I forget thee o Jerusalem may my right hand forget its cunning” with a picture of a shield and flowers. “Rachel weeps for her children” with an engraving of Rachel’s Tomb and the olive tree. “Return your dwelling to Zion and build the Temple in Jerusalem,” “Blessed is God who builds Jerusalem in his mercy, amen.” The embossed pieces were owned by Jerusalem synagogues in the 1950s. Good conditions, holes for hanging. Different sizes, averaging 8×17.5cm.
