Typewritten letter on official letterhead from the Rebbe. 16th Shvat 1987.
"במענה על ההודעה אשר נולדה להם בת למזל טוב… הנה יה"ר מהשי"ת שיגדלוה לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים מתוך הרחבה…" and then he notes the sources for the minhag of the Rashab to wish such things (Torah, chuppah, maasim tovim) also to girls. Ends with "בברכת מזל טוב". Handwritten signature of the Rebbe.
