Kovetz 28th of Sivan Yovel Shanim 1991. With a $1bill. Placed in the original plastic case given directly by the Rebbe. The recipient’s name appears on the title page. Very good overall condition.
Content of the Kuntres: the Kuntres contains more than a hundred pages with a short historical review of the efforts made to save the Rebbe and the Rebetzin Chaya Mushka, a short description of the Rebbe’s first Hitva’adut in the USA, outlines of the Rebbe’s biography and his Sichot and Mamarim for the 9th of Adar (the day the Admor the Rayatz came to the USA in 1940) and the 28th of Sivan, about the work in the USA and more. The Kuntres was published in 1991, fifty years after the Admor and his wife came to the USA.
A big Surprise!
The Rebbe ordered to print the Kovetz so it could be distributed to many! This came as a big surprise since it was the first and only time the Rebbe announced he would give out a Kuntres that contains not only Mamrei Chassidut and Sichot Kodesh but also stories, historical facts and more.

In the eveneing, the Rebbe returned from the Ohel and at 20:30 davened Mincha. Afer it, he began a Sichah, explaining that the day was Yom Zakai. After the Sichah, he went to his Bimah for Ma’ariv. After it, the Gabai announced that since the Kuntresim had not yer arrived, there will be a break of 15 minutes and then the Chalukah would begin. The Rebbe then smiled broadly and said that since a break was announced, he would continue his Sichah. This second Sichah lasted for ten minutes.
When it ended, the Rebbe began the Chalukah of the Kovetz, in a red cover and placed in a sepecial plastic case with a dollar for chrity. The Chalkuah began at 21:20. In the middle of the Chalukah, the Rebbe took a Kovetz and put it under his Siddur. A few minutes later, he tokk another one and put it beneath the first. After approx. three hours of Chalukah, the Rebbe left, giving out some more Kuntresim to people who did not yer receive them. See: Mazkeret Netzcah, p. 54.
