Perfection of beauty! Pinkas Gemilut Chassadim of the Zibenbergen Kollel – with several leaves of regulations in fine scribal script – with the names of the Levyim, memebers of the Zibenbergen Kollel – Safed, 1904.
At the beginning of the booklet, a hand-illustrated title page, one of the most beautiful title pages we have ever seen! Most of it was written and decorated with gilt letters, including a gilt border, verses on the virtue of charity and varied decorations – we shall not waste words when you can see for yourself.
Following the title page are five leaves handwritten by a scribe with words supporting charity and the regulations of the Society: "The Gabai is not allowed to lend money to anyone at the expense of the Society unless there is money in the charity box..."
