Bavli Talmud, tractates Rosh Hashana, Yoma, Sukkah, Ta;anit, Shekalim (Yerushalmi) and Megillah, "with Rashi and Tosfot … and several other matters .. and we have added glosses and corrections by the famed Gaon … Rabbi yeshaya Berlin who was Av Beit Din and Ram of Breslau and the state…"

Incomplete copy, at its beginning, tractate Rosh Hashana begins with leaf 8. Moth perforations and damage. Stains and other blemishes. Original leather binding with a new spine. Good-fair overall condition. 

On verso of the binding, a handwritten notation: "שייך להרב המפורסם בגודל מעלתו הרבה בתורה ובמצות ועוסק בצדקה ה"ה מהו’ משה לאנדסבערג…". On the back and front flyleaves, notations of Divrei Torah handwritten by him and throughout the book, handwritten glosses in fine orderly script (Rashi-like script – one of the comments indicates they were indeed written by Rabbeinu since he notes: "שמעתי מפי אדמ"ו [אדוני מורי ורבי] הג’ מוהרע"א זצ"ל…."! ). Additional signatures: הק’ אלי’ לאנדסבערג פוזנא…", and "הק’ ארי’ ליב נ"י בן לאאמ"ו הרב מוה’ יצחק איצק נ"י".   

Basic edition of the Shas to which were added for the first times Hagahot Rabbi Yeshaya Pik Berlin "ובכל העולם כולו הכירו יקר ערכו ומעלתו, עד שלא נדפס מאוו הדפוס ואילך תלמוד בלי הגהות הגרי"ב" (Baal Hadikdukei Sofrim). Stefansky Yesod p. 20.

The Gaon Rabbi Moshe Landsberg (1801-1884) a descendant of the author of Yesod Yosef. Was a close disciple of the Gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger and served as a Dayan at his Beit Din in Posna. In the book Igrot Sofrim there is a famed picture depicting Rabbi Akiva Eiger walking in Posna with Rabbeinu by his sude.
