Kohelet Shlomo on Sefer Ein Yaakov with Kutnot Or, section I with the title page of section II – Furth, 1791. Incomplete copy. Originally, 214 leaves. In this copy, 213 leaves only and the title page of section II, which is not included here, was bound instead of the title page of section I. Stains and moth perforations. Moth damage and tears along the edges, mainly of the first leaves. Restorations to the corners of the title page. Fine new binding, slightly stained. Good overall condition. 

On the title page of the book, the handwritten signature of Av Beit Din of Furth, the Maharzach: "הק’ משלם זלמן כ"ץ". And the handwritten signature of Rabbi Natan ben Meir Shnatich – one of the Dayanim of Furth and the signature of Rabbi Binyamin Lilienthal, one of the heads of Kollel Hod of Jerusalem. Throughout the book, 2 handwritten glosses – not studied

Rabbi Meshulam Zalman Cohen (1739-1820), the Maharzach. Av Beit Din and Rosh Yeshiva of Furth. The son of Rabbi Shlomo Hacohen Katz. One of the leading disciples of Rabbeinu Yonason Eibeschitz, who gave him his Hora’ah Semicha. Corresponded with the Noda BiYehuda, Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Zamosht and Rabbi Pinchas Howoritz, Baal Hahafla’ah. Contemporary rabbis titled him Sar HaTorah, Rosh Bnei HaGolah and more. Author of Chidushei and Shut Maharzach – Bigdei Kehuna, Mishan Hamayim and Nachalat Avot.
