Selichot for Adar 7 per the Custom of the Chevra Kaddisha of Jerusalem and published by its Gaba’im. Printed after the Jerusalem, 1863 edition with the addition of the Keri;at HaTorah and Haftarah for a Ta’anit. Giustiniani Press Jerusalem, 1884. 16 leaves. 15 cm. Restored tears, affecting the text of one of the leaves. Minor stains. Fine new binding. Good overall condition.
Variant! In all copies, on verso of the title page there is a MOda’ah Rabba about the Gentiles among us who are unlike all Gentiles etc. and on leaf 2, the Gaba’im’s signatures with the foreword on verso of this leaf. In this copy, the foreword is printed on verso of the title page and leaf 2 does not exist.
On the title page, an ownership signature of Rabbi Menachem Isaav Ralbag – the personal secretary of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook.
