Lot 186:
Postcard that was sent to the management of the Zibenbergen Kollel – with the handwritten signature of the Admor Rabbi Yitzchak Yechiel Panet of Deyzh – Deyzh, 1913.
The Zibenbergen Kollel was one of the largest Kollelim of Safed; its members included leading and elderly Chassidim who were the glory of Safed. Already in his father’s lifetime, Rabbeinu was occupied with charity for Eretz Yisrael and after his father passed away, he was appointed president of the Zibenbergen Kollel.
At the beginning of the postcard, Rabbeinu refers to his borther, the author of the Knesset Yechezkel: "היות כי אחי הה"צ שליט"א זה שני שבועות אשר אינו בביתו ומחמת זה נתאחר שליחת היאקסין…"
Official postcard of Rabbeinu!!! On one side, his name is written in Hebrew: "יצחק יחיאל בהרב הגאון הקדוש מהר"ם זצ"ל חופ"ק דעעש יצ"ו". Printed on its verso: "PANETH IZSAK DES".

The Admor Rabbi Yitzchak Yechiel Panet (1863-1940) the son of the Admor Rabbi Moshe Panet and a descendant of the the Mareh Yechezkel. Was raised by his grandfather, the Admor author of the Maglei Tzeddek of Deyzh and was beloved by him and by his father and he was the one who published his book Shut Avnei Tzeddek. Served as Admor in Deyzh aloמgside his brother and was known by the Chassidim as Der Rebbe Rabbi Yitzchak Michleh. Already in his father’s lifetime used to deal with raising funds for the poor of Eretz Yisrael and after his passing was appointed the president of the Zibenbergen Kollel and the Chevrat Menachem Zion.
