"Desreved to be Rebbe two generations ago" – appearing on the title page of the book is the signature and stamp of Rabbi Alter Zeev Horowitz Av Beit Din of Strizov, the son of Rabbi Avraham Abba of Shanshidov, the son of the Admor Rabbi Yaakov of Melitz, a descendant of the Admor the author of the Zera Kodesh. For fifty years served as Av Beit Din of Strizov. Was famed as a devoted Oved Hashem. The Admor of Shinova said of him that he desreved to be Rebbe two generations ago! And the Admor Rabbi Yehoshua of Belz once told his son, the Maharid: "come see a true Yere Shamayim", pointing at Rabbeinu. Rabbeinu was close to the Admorim of Belz; his son, Rabbi Chaim Yehuda, was an activist of Belz, known as the Foreign Minister of Belz.
