Sefer Ketubah "which is the first section of Sefer Hafla’ah" and Sefer Hamikneh "which is the second section of Sefer Hafla’ah", two sections of the famed work by the Admor Rabbi Pinchas Jorowitz – Lemberg, 1860. Section I: [4], 70, [1]; 49, [1]; 64 leaves. Section II: [4], 44, 46-96; 2-43; 3, 5-55 leaves. Stains. At the end of the book, tears to several leaves affecting the text. Good overall condition.
On the title page of the book, a stamp of Rabbi Pinchas Halevi Ish Horowitz of Sokal – apparently, the Gaon Rabbi Pinchas Halevi Ish Horowitz Av Beit Din of Bradshim who was a bridegroom in Sokla. The Gaon Rabbi Pinchas was one of the two rabbis who gave Maran the Admor of Belz his Semicha during World War I. Rabbeinu needed the Semicha so as not be recruited into the Austrian army. Rabbeinu knew the above Rabbi Pinchas from the time he lived in Sokal following his marriage to the daughter of his uncle Eabbi Shmuel Roke’ach of Sokal.
