Sefer Tal Chaim, on the Torah and Moadim, section I (section II, on the Moadim, was not published). A Chassidic work by the Admor Rabbi Chaim Friedlander Av Beit Din of Liska and the son-in-law and successor of the Admor Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Liska. First edition Betlen – 1909. 99, [4] leaves. 24 cm. Stains and mold stains. Moth perforations, Some tears, some of them restored, affecting the text in some places. Fine new embossed binding. Good-fair overall condition.

The book contains many and important approbations by leading contemporary Admorim and rabbis of Hungary, including the Admorim Rabbi Moshe Halberstam of Sanz, Rabbi Yisrael Hager author of the Ahavat Yisrael of Vizhnitz, Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Shapira the Darkei Teshuvah of Munkatch, Rabbi Yechezkel Panet the author of the Knesset Yisrael of Deyzh, the Maharsham of Brezhan, Rabbi Moshe Greenwald the Arugat Habosem and more. 

With the rare list of subscribers

At the end of the book, the 4 rare leaves with the list of subscribers, which do not appear in all copies. The list contains many names of Hungarian Tzaddikim and Chassidim including varied Admorim and Rabbis, among them, Rabbi Yeshaya of Kerestir, the leading disciple of the author’s in-law, Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald of Satmar and Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar – it is interesting to note that Rabbeinu Hakadosh of Satmar was only in his twenties then, yet is already titled "Harav Hama’or Hagadol", the only one of this list titled so although it includes many important rabbis.
