Sefer Hafla’ah, "Sefer Ketubah, which is the first section of Sefer Hafla’ah, Chidushei Halachot and Aggadot". The famed basic work by the Gaon Rabbi Pinchas Halevi Ish Horowitz, Av Beit Din of Frankfurt am Main and the teacher and Rav of Rabbeinu the Chatam Sofer. Was the brother of Rabbi Shmelke of Nikolsburg. One of the first Chassidic Tzaddikim and a leading disciple of Rabbeinu the Maggid of Mezeritch. 

First ediiton, Offenbach – 1787. [1], 6, 90 [i.e. 180], 86, [1] leaves. Stefansky, Sifrei Yesod 92; Stefansky, Chassidut 182. Half-leather binding with a blemished, incomplete spine. Some moth perforations. Stains and minro blemishes. Very good overall condition. 

On the title page, several signature of the Gaon Rabbi Shimon of Lisa (see below). 

Rabbi Shimon Halevi Segal (d. 1845), the brother-in-law and disciple of Rabbi Akiva Eiger. The son of Rabbi Yehoshua Feibelman Segal Av Beit Din of Samtor who was the brother-in-law by his first marriage and in-law by his second of Rabbi Akiva Eiger. The son-in-law of Rabbi Meshulam Zalman Asheknazi Av Beit Din of Lublin. Served as Rav of Rogozen and Prodan. His Rav, Rabbi Akiva Eiger, praised him, saying about him: "אשרי יולדתו". Authored works on the Shas and Shulchan Aruch and Shut books, which unfortunately, were destroyed in a fire. Was also known as a Paytan who wrote Piyyutim indicating his knowledge of Kabbalah.
