On the leaf preceding the title page, a fine poetic dedication by the Gaon Rabbi Yechiel Yosef Buksbaum, the son of the Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Buksbaum of Galanta,
dedicated to Rabbi Avraham Stork – a leading disicple of the Galanter Rov. In addition, several stamps of Rabbi Yechiel Yosef Buksbaum, who was the previous owner of the book.
The author, Rabbi David Elimelech Yales was a Chassid of the Admorim of Ruzhin, author of Sefer Keren LeDavid on Rabbi David Moshe of Choretkov, and Sefer Shufraya DeYaakov on Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura.
The Gaon Rabbi Yechiel Yosef Buksbaum (d. 1944) the son of Rabbi Yehoshua Buksbaum Av Beit Din of Galanta. In 1927, married the Rebbetzin Kreindel, the daughter of Rabbi Gershon Avraham Goldberger Av Beit Din of Tisa Bertzel. Served as Moreh Tzeddek and Dayan of Galanta. Perished with his father and their family in Sivan 1944.
