Sefer Nidchei Yisrael, a book on the foundations of religion for people living in countries far from Jewish life, by the Gaon Maran Rabbi Yisrael Meir Hacohen of Radin, the Chafetz Chaim. In this edition, Hebrew-Teitch (Yiddish) was added throughout the entire work for the benefit of women and common people. Printed in Warsaw, 1897. At its end, Kuntres Tiferet Adam on the prohibition of destroying one’s beard and sidelocks by the author. 147, 16 leaves. Approx. 23 cm. 

Fabric binding with leather spine, apparently original. Restoration of a small tear to the title page. Stains and some blemishes to binding. Good overall condition. 

On the flyleaf, the pen notation of "מוגה" (proofread) – Rabbeinu used to write this on all his books, which he himself proofread, to prevent theft.
