Volume with two works by the Gaon and famed Darshan, one of the first members of the Mussar Movement, Rabbi Yehoshua Heller, who was a disciple of Rabbi Yisrael of Salant. 

1. Divrei Yehoshua, with three Mamarim: Marpeh Lanefesh, Eitzah Vetushiyah and Hatorah Vehayirah – first edition – Rabbi Yosef Reuven Rom Press – Vilna, 1856. 

2. Divrei Yehoshua Beit Tefillah, Drush on the blessings of the prayer and Hebrew letters and their Gematria – first ediiton, Konigsberg, 1842.

The author of the Gaon and Darshan Rabbi Yehoshua Heller (1814-1880), one of the first disciples of the founder of the Mussar Movement, Rabbi Yisrael of Salant. During his lifetime, Rabbeinu served as Maggid Meisharim of Grodno and Vilna and as Av Beit Din of Planga and Telz. Studied under Rabbi David Tevil of Minsk, Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin and his brother, Rabbi Yechiel Heller. Was the only son-in-law of the famed Lithuanian Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer of Grodno. 

Was famed in Lithuania as a gifted rhetorican, a leading Darshan and fertile author. His book include, among others, Divrei Yehoshua, Toldot Yehoshua, Maoz Hadat and more.
