Lot 110:
שלחתי לכת"ר קונטרס מאדמו"ר מלובויטש זצ"ל – letter with blessings for the New Year handwritten and signed by the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch Shlita – addressed to the Gaon Rabbi Yechiel Yaakov Weinberg author of the Sridei Esh – London, 1940s.
In his letter, Rabbeinu blesses the author of the Sridei Esh for the New Year: "שנזכה ליכתב וליחתם בספרן של צדיקים הנכתבין והנחתמין לאלתר לחיים… אקוה עוד ואתפלל לה’ שיזכיני לשוב לפניו בתשובה שלימה…".
Special! Among others, Rabbeinu writes: שלחתי לכת"ר קונטרס מאדמו"ר מלובויטש זצ"ל בעניין ציוני.. ואקווה שקיבלו..". Apparently, he is referring to the Kuntres Haktav Vehamichtav by the Admor the Rashab of Lubavitch, on the Zionist Movement, to which the Admor the Rashab strongly objected.

The Gaon Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch (b. 1926) was close to the Chazon Ish. Authored the Moadim Uzmanim series of books, Shut Teshuvot Vehanhagot and additional books. In the past served as the Rav of the Chareidi community of Johannesburg and now is the head of the Beit Din and leader of the Chareidi community of Jerusalem.
