Special item – letter of recommendation for the Mekubak Rabbi Shimshon Heiman of Retieg – handwritten by the Admor Rabbi Yechezkel Panet author of the Kneeset Yechezkel, his son and successor the Admor Rabbi Yaakov Elimelech Panet and Av Beit Din of Retieg Rabbi Yehoshua Leibovich – Deyzh-Retieg, 1928.

In the upper part of the letter, lines handwritten and signed by the Knesset Yechezkel and with his large stamp. At the beginning of the letter, Rabbeinu uses many superaltives to describe Rabbi Shimshon: "אשר לא מש מאהלה של תורה שייף עייל שייף נפיק וגריס באורייתא תדירא ולא מחזיק טיבותא לנפשי’" then he blesses those ho heed to his words "שיזכו לראות בשמחת צאצאיהם מתוך רוב נחת והרחבה גדולה…"


Beneath the letter by the Knesset Yechezkel, words handwritten and signed by his son Rabbi Yaakov Elimelech Panet. He, like his father, writes reverently about Rabbi Shimshon "ואך למחסור.. ולספר בשבח ידי"נ הרב הצדיק מו"ה שמשון היימאן שליט"א". He addresses the Jews of the USA, to where Rabbi Shimshin was apparently headed: "ומובטחני בטובת וישרת לה אחינו שבאמריקא אשר בכל עת צרה שלא תבא הראו את יקרת רוחם ומדת רחמנותם…".

On verso of the leaf, Rabbi Yehoshua Leibovich Av Beit Din of Retieg added a unique letter of recommendation, sribal script and Assyrian fonts like those of a Sefer Torah signed by him: "הק’ יהושע לעבאוויטש אבדק"ק הנ"ל".

the Admor Rabbi Yechezkel Panet author of the Knesset Yisrael (1870-1930) one of the leading contemporary Tzaddikim of Hungary. The son of the Admor Rabbi Moshe Panet and grandson of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Panet who were both the rabbis of Deyzh. When he was seven, his grandfather ordered him to wear Tefillin, since he saw he was able to handle them with care. Used to study Torah 18 hours a day. Corresponded with the Admor rabbi Shlomo of Munkatch and his son the Darkei Teshuvah on Divrei Torah. In 1903 succeeded his father as Rav of Deyzh. 

His son the Admor Rabbi Yaakov Elimelech Panet (1889-1944) author of Zichron Yaakov. Was rthe fifth Admor of Deyzh and the last one in the city before Wprld War II. The son and successor of the Admor the Knesset Yechezkel of Deyzh since the age of 14. Refused to leaves his community and perished with them in Auschwitz in Sivan 1944. 

Rabbi Yehoshua Leibovich Av Beit Din of Retieg (1944) the son of Rabbi Moshe Yehuda LeibovichAv beit Din of Senta. Was a disicple of the Arugat Habosem. In 1920 became Av Beit Din of Retieg and its Rosh Yeshiva. 

The recipient of the letter the Mekubal Rabbi Shimshon Heiman the son-in-law of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Sternberg, Rabbi Mendele Deyzher. A leading Chassid of the Knesset Yechezkel who said of him and his friend Rabbi Shmuel Luria: "אלו לא הייתי חושש מפני מעמדי היתי נוסע נסיעה לשבת לעיר רעטיאג להני תרי צנתרי דדהבא להתחמם באור עבודתם בקודש…".
