Seder Mei Marom, "containing Dinei Mikva’ot which were not elucidated by the Shulchan Aruch and Poskim Rishonim and Acharonim with the Devar Halacha elucidation and illustrations…". By the Chassid Gaon Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Teleshevsky Av Beit Din of Nasovka author of Shut Divrei Halacha, HaGra’s grandson and Chassid of the Admor the Tzemach Tzeddek of Lubavitch.

About the book and its rareness

The book was edited by his son Rabbi Aharon Av Beit Din of Semianovka. First edition – Warsaw, 1908. 3, [1], 3-22 leaves. A foreword by his above son containing some of his father’s biography/ It should be noted that this copy is extremely rare, appearing neither in the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book nor in the National Library.  The only bibliographic indication is in the National Library, in a copy of the New York 1993 edition which is a facsimile of this edition (possibly based on this copy). The only other copy known of is in the Lubavitch Library in New York. Possibly, this is one of the only copies that remained of the book

The widow’s cry!

The book contains demonstrative illustrations. At its beginning, a printed dedication by "the publisher the Widow Chaya Sarah Teleshevsky" who touchingly writes: "The book Mei Marom… which has been left to me by my late husband the author on whom I spent all I had when he was sick and now I have been left penniless and look towards the income from the sale of the book to support my many family members…". Apparently, many heard her cry and purchased the book which might explain its rareness.

Detached binding. The title page and some other leaves are detached.  Pink guard leaves. Good overall condition.

On verso of the binding, the signature of Rabbi Binyamin Bamberger – a son of the pedigreed Bamberger family which descended from Rabbi Yitzchak Dov Bamberger Av Beit Din of Wurzburg.
