Shechitot Uvdikot by the Mahari Weill with an addition of a commentary and Dinei Nikur in Dutch. Most of the text is in Dutch with some Hebrew. Foreword in a foreign language by J. Lehmans.

Rare edition!

Single edition – Amsterdam, 1852. [1], 48 pp. This unique item is not in the National Library or the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book. A long time ago, it appeared once in auctions and then, without the rare plate (see below). Apparently, a complete copy – there is no other copy/listing to compare to.

Anatomy and illustrations!

At its end, a folding plate with 7 illustrations of the animal’s anatomy to assist in the understanding of the material. The illustrations are hand-colored red for emphasis. The plate is folded to match the size of the book and over time, became detached from the book.

Small format: 19 cm. Minor stains. Quality printing on healthy paper. Small tears to the folding plate – see pictures. Good overall condition.
