Shut Devar Avraham, with Chidushei Halachot and Beurei Sugyot by the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Dober Kahana Shapira Av Beit Din of Malevitch, the grandson of the Gaon Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin. First edition in the author’s lifetime – Warsaw, 1906. Two title pages. [2], 129 leaves. Approbation by his father, the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Sender Av Beis Din of Krink. Loose binding. Wide margins. Minor stains. Some tears. Some moth damage. Good overall condition. 

Inside the book, several lengthy and significant comments on the margins of the sheets. On the title pages, stamps: "דוד מאשקאוויטש מישקאלטץ אב"ד דק"ק באניהאד" (David Moskovich Mishkoltz Av Beit Din of Bonyhad) – Rabbi David Moskovich was born in Krestir. The son-in-law of Rabbi Yaakov Chizkiya Greenwald, the son of the Arugat Habosem of Chust. Was close to the author of the Keren Ledavid and assisted him in printing his books. On his official stationery, it was written: "לפנים אב"ד דק"ק באניהד מישקאלץ, וכעת בעי"ק ירושלים תובב"א מו"צ בעדה החרדית הע"י"

Additional stamps:  "חנוך העניך בלאדמו"ר הרמ"ז שימאנאוויץ חופ"ק פוחאוויץ".


Interesting! Author’s stamps and corrections 

In two places inside the book, there are stamps with a correction/addition to the text of the book – on leaf 91a and leaf 114b there, the author refers to the omissions on the last page. There, there is also an erasure of a word with pen, possibly by the author.
