Lamdanut and Yegi’ah!
The book contains many lengthy and significant glosses indicating the vast knowledge and deep understanding of their anonymous writer. The important writer is not content with Pipul and Sevara and adds his practical conclusion, often disagreeing with the author and stating: "דבריו סתומים", "דבריו תמוהים" and the like. The glosses are partly trimmed at the edges of the leaves. On the title page, blurred ancient stamps: "בהמ"ד חדש בקאזמיר פה ק"ק קראקא שנתר"א [שנת תר"א]". We did not manage to discover the writer’s identity.

Old binding with some blemishes. Stains and some moth perforations. Minor blemishes. Good overall condition.
The importance of the work
In many cases, the author of Tosefet Shabbat disagrees with his predecessors, even with the Magen Avraham, who was considered a central Posek. Possibly, due to its uniqueness, the work was accepted enthusiastically by learners and leading contemporary rabbis such as the Noda BiYehuda, the Pri Megadim and the Chida quote it in their books.
