Amal Torah!
The book contains dozens of comments and significant glosses on the margins of the sheet in ancient Ashkenazic script, indicating the Amal Torah and understanding of its owner. The glosses are in several types of script and ink and most of them are ancient.
On the title page, an ancient ownership notation (erased with a line) alongside a blurred stamp of Rabbi Alexander YOnasson Austreich (Austreicher), who was a member of a pedigreed family of Hungarian rabbis (his father, Rabbi Eliezer, was the son-in-law of Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Av Beit Din of Kroley and the brother-in-law of Rabbi Moshe Spitz of Tshenger and Rabbi Yehoshua Freund of Kroley); possibly, some of the glosses were handwritten by him. An additional ancient notation on the top of the tile page – difficult to decipher. We could not identify the writer’s identity.
