Letter handwritten and signed by the famed Admor Rabbi Chai Yitzchak Twersky of Rachmastrivka – addressed to Rabbi Moshe Yitzchak Cheshin – about the book of his father, the Jerusalem Tzaddik Rabbi Yeshayahu Cheshin – Brooklyn, 1957.

In his letter, Rabbeinu thanks Rabbi Moshe Yitzchak for sending him his father’s book, Divrei Yeshayahu, and apologizes for not responding quickly: "וסליחתו אבקש בזה על אשר עד עתה לא השבתי מפני סיבות שונות…".

The Admor Rabbi Chai Yitzchak Twersky (1931-2023) the son of the Admor Rabbi Yochanan of Rachmastrivka. In his youth, he got sick and almost died, and his grandfather the Admor Rabbi David ordered the addition of the name Chai and with God’s help he recovered just before his Bar Mitzvah. The son-in-law and disciple of the Admor Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Twersky of Rachmastrivka. He studied under Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer at Etz Chaim and was also close to many Tzaddikim of the previous generation, including the Admor Aharon of Belz, the Admor Rabbi Yisrael of Husiatyn, Rabbi Shlomo of Zvhil, and more. Was considered one of the greatest American Admorim and many came to him for advice and blessings. He was also known for his Hatmadah and the extent of his burning love for every Jew wherever he was. His warm prayers with tears and the outpouring of the soul were known to all and many came to witness and be inspired by his Avodah.
