Letter handwritten and signed by the Chassid Gaon Rabbi Meir Leib Frey Av Beit Din of Shuran, a descendant of the Chatam Sofer – Shuran, 1935.
The letter was written by Rabbeinu to the managers of Kollel Shomrei Hachomot informing them about the passing of Mrs. Ehrenfeld. Like many of the leading rabbis of Hungary, Rabbeinu too was a Gabai of Kollel Shomrei Hachomot and the address for all matters of the Kollel in his city of Nietra.
