Sefer Or Torah, the Divrei Torah of Rabbi Dov Ber, the Maggid of Mezeritch.  Lemberg, 1858. Originally, 138 leaves. This copy contains up to leaf 60 only. No binding. Stains. Moth perforations and damage. Tears with taping to several leaves. Fair overall condition. 

On the leaves, stamps of Rabbi Aharon Brondwein and his son, Rabbi Avraham of Safed. In addition, signatures of Moshe Leib Eichenstein. 

Admor Rabbi Aharon Brondwein (died 1907) was the son of the Admor Rabbi Zvi Aryeh Landau of Felsztyn. After his father’s passing, he grew up in his uncle’s home—the Admor Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin. After his father-in-law (Rabbi Avraham of Strettin) passed away without children, he adopted his father-in-law’s surname, moved to Eretz Yisraell and settled in Safed, where he passed away in 1907 and is buried in the Beer Mayim Chaim cave.
