Masechet Avot with the Sefat Emet commentary, by Maran Yehuda Aryeh Leib of Ger. Second edition, Landsberg 1948, a facsimile of the first Pietrekov edition of 1933.
On verso of the title page, a touching notation: “Published for a second time by the Avrechim and Bachurim of Chassidei Ger in Landsburg, may we merit redemption and to move to Zion and to be covered by the shade of Maran Admor of Gur in Jerusalem.”
On the facing page, the content of a letter by the Imrei Emet to Rabbi Avraham Issachar Binyamin, the author’s grandson, is printed, with instructions regarding the book. [1], 57 leaves 114 pp. Detached binding and leaves. Original binding. Some stains. Good overall condition.
