Volume with 2 books: Sefer HaEmunah Vehabitachon by the Ramban. Zholkva, 1848. 38 leaves. Bound with Rabbeinu Bahya, the sections of Bereshit and Shemot – Warsaw, 1852. 5-140, 137-138; [100]34 leaves. The title page of Bereshit and the following leaf and the title page of Shemot are missing. Moth perforations and damage. Stains. New paper-covered old binding. Good-fair overall condition.
On the front and back flyleaves, many notations including the handwritten signature of the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Roth Av Beis Din of Homorod (see Hebrew catalog text for his brief biography) and additional notations indicating the book belonged to him. In addition a handwritten notation by Rabbi Yehoshua Folk Friedman (see Hebrew catalog text for his brief biography) and the signature of Yosef Aharon Sheinfeld.
On the first leaves of the book, 3 glosses in ancient script and an additional lengthy, handwritten notation. We did not have the script of the owner of the book for comparison.
