Lot 152:
Chidushim of Masechet Zevachim by the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Zeev Soloveitchik – the Rav of Brisk. Early mimeographed edition and apparently the first of Rabbeinu’s Torah. Jerusalem, 1946. [1], 123, [1] pp. The text is written on one side of the leaf only. Detached/loose binding. Blemished spine. Some folds. Good overall condition,
This edition was printed without the consent, knowledge and editing of Rabbeinu the author and was therefore mimeographed rather than printed. Despite the apparent "theft", the work in this format was accepted by Yeshiva students all over the world and became an inseparable part of the lessons of famed Ramim, who nevertheless note that these Chidushim are "The Griz on stencil".
