Lot 102:
Two works by the Chacham Rabbu Avraham Hacohen Yitzchaki of Tunis: Shulchano shel Avraham on the Shulchan Aruch – first edition, Livorno, 1865, and Sefer Mitzvot Kehunah, Shut – first ediiton, LIvorno, 1885. [2], 109; [1], 49 leaves. Leaf 49 was misplaced in the binding and it is followed by leaf 46.
Both were published by Rabbi Avraham Ankava. No binding. The first title page is detached. A gathering at the end is detached. Some tears. Stains. Moth perforations and damage. Fair overall condition.
On the title page of Shulchano shel Avraham, Sephardic ownership signatures of the Gaon RavRabbi Chaim Yosef Rachamim Franco, known as the Charif (see Hebrew catalog text).
On leaf 103b, a significant comment in ancient Sephardic script.
On the top of the first title page, above the aforementioned signature, an additional Sephardic notation, incomplete, possibly, a dedication to Rabbeinu the Charif?
