First (and only edition disregarding the 1993 facsimile edition) published in the author’s lifetime – Livorno, 1843. 152 leaves. In the Special Collections of the National Library. Foreword by the author and by his son Rabbi Yitzchak and by the editor Rabbi Avraham Baruch Pipirno of Livorno. 

At the beginning of the book, a poem and illustration of musical instruments.

No binding. Many moth perforations. Blemishes to the edges of some leaves and to the upper part of the last gathering, affecting the text. Moth damage. Quality paper. Fair-poor overall condition. 

On the title page, a dedication handwritten and signed "אבי"ע" by the author to Rabbi Yehuda Navon (see Hebrew catalog text). 

An additional Sephardic signature on the title page: "הצעיר יוסף ארוואץ
