Lot 70:
Broadside issued by "הליגה להצלת ילדי ישראל מן השמד" (the League for Rescuing Jewish Children from Destruction) containing a touching call to the Jewish people to donate money to rescue Jewish children from the Mission, by locating those studying in its institutions and moving them to Jewish ones.
On the lower part of the broadside are photocopies of letters by three contemporary Gedolei Yisrael: the Tzaddik Rabbi Yaakov Yisroel Kanievsky – the Steipler. In the center, a photocopy of a letter of support by the Rebbe and beside it, a letter by Rabbi Shlomo Yosef Zevin.
An extremely rare item that is not in the Epherma Collection of the National Library.
