The monthly journal HaKri’ah VeHaKedusha was published during the years 1940-45, “with the support and blessing of the Admor, Shlita, of Lubavitch". The content in Yiddish and English.

In this journal, articles and Sichot by the Admor the Rayatz were published, as well as four Kol Koreh announcements by the Rebbe, who declared: "לאלתר לתשובה לאלתר לגאולה". The Rayatz in his letters frequently praised this journal, and said that “it contains within it the necessary measure of air for one’s breath for all those who study Torah.”

In some issues, there was a section titled Otiyot Porchot which published incomprehensible words and poetry by the Rayatz. Chassidim saw these lists as Divine prophecies. Some hinted at world events: one was interpreted by the editor of the journal as predicting the invasion of the Allies during World War II, which happened three months after it appeared in the journal.

It is interesting to note (on behalf of the secretary Rabbi Binyomin Klein) that the Rebbe ordered not to reprint the issues.

A thick volume containing 61 issues that were published and an issue with the indices.
Good overall condition.
