The Rebbe said that the Mamarim in Magen Avot are "געשמאקע מאמרים". Magen Avot books, and even facsimile editions, are rare and hard to obtain.

Bound in two volumes with ancient bindings, loose, one of them detached. Worn and unravelled spines. Fine wide margins. Some detached leaves. Minor stains. Some leaves are creased-blemished with lack. Good overall condition.
