First edition with the glosses and elucidation by Rabbi Yitzchak Katz, the son-in-law of Rabbeinu the Maharal of Prague. The press of Yaakov ben Gershon Ish Bak Prague, 1613. Stefansky Sifrei Yesod 130. Originally, 31, [1], 37-88, 69-86 leaves. In this copy, the last 3 leaves were completed with a photocopy. Fine new binding. Moth perforations and damage. Stains and other blemishes. Fair overall condition.
Handwritten glosses and corrections in several places, including a lengthy one. Ownership notations and stamps:
– Stamps of the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Berlin.
– Stamp of the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Kahana ben Rabbi Nachman of Mastislav author of Sefer Yitzchak Yeranen [Vilna, 1864].
– "נאום צביכונ"הירש [צבי יכונה הירש] בא"א [בן אדוני אבי] הר"ר דוד זצ"ל?".
– "נאום חיים בן לאאמו"ר….?".
