Long letter (two pages) handwritten by the Admor Rabbi Yerucham Leiner of Radzin, written to Rabbi Yehuda Leib Maimon, on whether it is possible to establish the Sanhedrin before the coming of the Messiah. He proves from the writings of the Rambam and his father the Baal HaTekhelet that the Sanhedrin is established before the coming of the Messiah. This is an important subject that has interested the Jewish world for hundreds of years. 2 pages. 18.5x27cm. Light creases, very good condition.

Rabbi Yerucham Leiner of Radzin (1888-1964) was the son of Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel, author of Likkutei Divrei Torah and brother of Rabbi Gershon Chanoch Henich, the Sidrei Taharot and HaTekhelet. He corresponded with the Gaon of Berezhan, and a tshuva of his appears in Shut Maharsham.
