First edition in the author’s lifetime – Piotrkow, 1922. These are the sections of Bechorot and Kritut. Original binding. Moth perforations. Moth damage mainly to the first leaves and binding. Most of the book is in fair-good condition.
On the flyleaf, an ownership stamp of the Gaon Rabbi Meir Shapira of Lublin, from the time he served as Av Beit Din of Piotrkow (see Hebrew catalog text for his brief biography).
Like all Rabbi Meir’s books, this copy too was part of the library of his famed yeshiva, Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin, as indicated by several stamps on the leaves.
