Sefer Divrei Moshe on Hilchot Milah and Pidyon Haben, by the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Leib Alter Baharav (see below). With approbations by the Admor Rabbi Yitzchak (the first) of Bohush, Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Orenstein Av Beis Din of Lviv, Rabbi Yeshaya Schor Av Beit Din of Jassy and Rabbi Moshe Teomim Av Beis Din of Horodanka. First edition, Lemberg, 1876. [2], 6, 43, 53, [2] leaves. 32 cm. Stains and some other blemishes. New binding. Very good overall condition. 

On the title page, ownership stamps of Alter Haham, Dov Yosef Alter, A. Sechter, and Hirsch Leib Brodinberg. Throughout the book, glosses and corrections, some of them lengthy, including a gloss with a Dvar Torah by the Baal Shem Tov and an addition of the Rav of Ruzhin on this Dvar Torah. At the end of the book, a list of subscribers with many and interesting names, mainly from Romania, including the Admor of Shtefanesht Rabbi Avraham Matityahu, the Admor of Bohush Rabbi Yitzchak and more.

The author Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Leib Alter Baharav (1810-1873), the son of Rabbi Yonah. One of the foremost Rabbis of Moldova, Av Beit Din of Botosani, and later of Bacau. Corresponded with the Malbim. It is told that he was born due to a blessing his father received from the Rebbe Rabbi Chaim of Czernowitz, who blessed him that in the merit of redeeming prisoners which he was involved in, he would have a son who will be a great Torah scholar.
