Sefer Nishmat Chaim “with Drushim on the concept of the pure soul.” With the addition of the author’s biography – Leipzig, 1862.
On the first leaf, there is an illustrated portrait of the author, Rav of the Amsterdam community and the greatest fighter for the Anusim in Portugal during the Inquisition—Rabbi Menashe ibn Yisrael.
XX pp. 107 leaves. Portrait. Apparently original binding, worn. Stains. Some mothe perforations. Several detached leaves. Tears to the edges of some leaves. Good overall condition.
