Lot 229:
Sefer Chochmat Hanefesh, an important and rare work. Based on the title page and approbations, the author is "אחד קדוש קדמון"; yet, over the years it was discovered that he was no other than Rabbi Elazar of Worms, Baal Haroke’ach. Edited (at the time) by the Admor Rabbi Zvi Elimelech of Dinov, author of the Bnei Yissachar, and with his commentary. At its end, a short work titled Tamei hamitzvot by the author of Dinov.
The press of Rabbi Eliezer Yechiel Kalisch by the editor Rabbi Alter Baruch Wieder, a bookseller in Minkatch – Munkatch, ca. 1943. 56 leaves. In the Rare Book Collection of the National Library.

Appearing are also approbations from the first edition by the Geonim Rabbi Yosef Shaul Nathanson Av Beis Din of Lviv and Maran the Divrei Chaim of Sanz praising the author and his work. Rabbi Yosef Shaul writes, among others, about the Rav of Dinov that he liked these Kitvei Kodesh so much that he used to take them with him wherever he travelled. The Rav of Sanz writes that purchasing this book is brining blessing into one’s home.
