Lot 216:
Sefer Geulat Yisrael – Divrei Chassidut by the Baal Shem Tov and his disciples – by Rabbi Yehoshua Avraham of Zhytomyr. Second edition with variations – Rabbi Moshe Isser Press – Lviv, 1850.
The first edition was published in Ostrohe in 1828. In this edition, the printers shortened the content of the book and ever since, it was published in this format.
On the title page, a dedication to Av Beit Din of makova: שייך לכבוד ידידי אבי יקירי, הרב בהאה"ג חו"ב.. יקר ונחמד… יצחק נ"י האבדק"ק מאקאווי…" beneath it, a faded signature "הק’ חיים…" and on its verso, an additional signature: "החתן אהרן דוד במו"ה חיים…" – not studied.

New semi-leather binding. Good condition.
