Sefer Kav Hayashar, Divrei Mussar with 102 chapters (the gematria of קב – Kav). By Rabbi Zvi Hirsch ben Rabbi Aharon Shmuel Kaidanover Av beit Din of Frankfurt and Krakow.
Two sections in a single volume – printed by Rabbi Shlomo Yarish Rappaport, the printer of the first edition of the Noam Elimelech, 3 years before the printing of this book – Lviv, 1791. 60, 52 leaves. Separate title page for each section. In the Rare Book Collection of the National Library, which has only an incomplete copy – this one is complete.
Small format. Stains and moth damage. Folds. The last leaves are loose. Fair overall condition.
Pencil ownership notation on the first leaf 4: "משה אהרן …?".. Foreign stamps.
