Sefer Milchemet Shalom on Milah on Sabbath by the Gaon Rabbi Meir Shalom Hacohen, the son of Rabbi Shaul Binyamin Hacohen Av Beit Din of Breinsk. First and only edition, Vilna, 1885. 48 pp. 31.5 cm. A single moth perforation all along the book. Stains and minor blemishes. New binding. Very good overall condition.
On the title page and first leaf, notations and stamps of Rabbi Meir ben Rabbi Yehoshua Zvi Robinson, Av Beit Din of Radoshkowitz.
Rabbi Meir Robinson (1852-1936) the son of Rabbi Yehoshua Zvi – the Rav of Vandžiogala, Lithuania. Rabbi Meir was known as an Iluy and was appointed as a Rav at a young age. For more than 50 years was the Rav of Radoshkowitz, Lithuania. In 1933, he immigrated to Jerusalem, where he was buried.
